My name is Simon, resident of Tokyo since over a year. I come from Sweden where I learned English from age 7 and I have continued to study during all my high school years. Thus I am now fluent in English. Languages has always been a great interest of mine. I have studied both English and Japanese grammar and I know what difficulties there are in the languages based on the differences in the languages. I have talked to many Japanese English students and I have heard a little about the Japanese school system for learning English, thus I understand why pronunciation is very hard for Japanese native speakers. I have a little knowledge in Japanese and can help by explaining especially difficult grammar by using both English and Japanese. I will be able to help you correct assignments and, if wished for, I can give you homework to do.
